Dr. Ramin Moshfegh, CTO at Lamera AB has presented the results of their use case developed within FormPlanet project during the annual international conference Materials in Car Body Engineering which took place from 9th-10th of June 2021.
During the event “Lightweight solutions”, Dr. Moshfegh delivered the presentation titled “Sustainable material for a lightweight product” and introduced FormPlanet as one of the European Union’s Open Innovation Test Beds (OITBs) and presented the results of applying metal characterisation and modelling tests to the advanced multi-layer HybrixTM material, seeking to develop lightweight protective panels and housing for Electric Vehicles’ batteries.

The Materials in Car Body Engineering conference had the objective to show and discuss about the latest progress and achievements regarding car body materials, their applicability, and their quality control. The conference promoted online networking sessions and offered the opportunity to meet all the speakers and participants in live video meetings.
