FormPlanet project coordinator Eurecat has participated at the Advanced Factories Congress 2021, which took place in June 8-10 in Barcelona, Spain.
The project has been included in Eurecat’s catalogue which has been distributed to attendees approaching their boost during the Congress.
FormPlanet project is one of the European Union’s Open Innovation Test Beds (OITBs) for increasing the productivity of the sheet metal forming industries through the development of new characterisation and modelling methodologies to assure zero-defects production and optimise sheet material development production and performance. Recently, seven European SMEs and companies in the sheet metal forming industry have been selected out of the 14 FormPlanet Open Call applications, to receive free services to better characterise sheet metal properties and predict the formation of defects in an early stage of design, forecast part performance and prevent production losses.
The Advanced Factories Congress is the annual international exhibition for industrial leaders which brings the most innovative companies in industrial automation, robotics, machine tools and manufacturing.
