FormPlanet project, coordinated by Eurecat, has been nominated to the Standards+ Innovation Awards 2021 by UNE, the Spanish Association for Standardization, as a key project contributing to European standardization.
The Standards+ Innovation Awards, organised by CEN-CENELEC, acknowledge the most relevant contribution of research and innovation to standardization. This edition includes the annual Project Award category, presented to a European research and innovation project which successfully contributes to standardization.
FormPlanet has been nominated to the “Project Awards” category together with other H2020 – Horizon Europe funded projects BMMRI.pl.project, COVR, the European Connected Factory Platform for Agile Manufacturing – EFPF, HEALINT/HEALINT4ALL, SEA-TITAN, PhoCa, SPIDIA4P and VET21001.
The Awards also included the category Individual researcher/innovator Award, for individuals who introduced a research or innovation outcome to standardization, the Technical Body Officer Award, a biennial award for technical body officers, and the Young Research Award, presented to an individual student based on the work done for academic theses, doctoral dissertations or other university research addressing standardization.
A total of 30 nominations distributed across the different awards categories have been received by 13 different CEN-CENELEC members.
CEN-CENELEC brings together the national standards agencies of 34 European countries and involves business federations, commercial and consumer organizations, environmental groups and other societal stakeholders.
