D4.3 is produced in the context of WP4, Task 4.4. Performance validation tests of the demonstrators proposed in WP4 (Tasks 4.3 and 4.4) were carried out to prove the reliability of the novel methodologies developed during the project on serial production components. CRF studied the implementation in real production plant of an equipment for the monitoring of hydrogen content in raw materials and stamped components for transport BiW made of USIBOR 2000.
Arcelik has performed rig tests to determine the clinch strength by the application of hydrostatic loads to validate the reliability of novel sheet metal characterization methods to predict the clinch performance in washing machine drums. On the other hand, in this deliverable has been also included the results of the testmethod developed and used by UNIPI for the validation of the hydrostatic stress-assisted hydrogen migration modeldeveloped in the frame of the WP2 (see deliverable D2.5) and implemented in the FE software, Ansys Mechanical ®.
