D3.3 Report of industrial on-line diffusible H measurement – Abstract

HELIOS 4 HOT PROBE instrument has been redesigned, both hardware and software, in order to reach the Industry 4.0 objectives.

The instrument has been calibrated to perform diffusible hydrogen measurements on sheet metal parts. Calibration was done for the following advanced high strength steels: Fortiform 1180, Martinsite 1500 and Usibor 2000. The calibration on USIBOR 2000 is fundamental to perform the online industrial measurements in a hot process forming process at Cassino plant of FIAT (CRF partner). Online hydrogen measurement is part of end user demonstrator (A pillar reinforcement component, Task 4.4) and thus part of the final test bed service catalogue.
