3MA system for quality inspection of components
An advanced 3MA (Micromagnetic Multiparameter, Microstructure and stress Analysis) measurement system for non-destructive quality control of components in process conditions.
Ferromagnetic steels and cast iron show a distinct correlation between magnetic behaviour and mechanic-technological materials characteristics. The 3MA method determines the relationship between the magnetic characteristics measured and desired result parameters (e.g. hardness, case depth, tensile strength, yield strength, residual stresses) on the basis of a defined calibration sample set.
Industrial on-line diffusible H measurement
After a proper preliminary calibration of HELIOS 4 HOT PROBE equipment, diffusible hydrogen content can be measured directly on sheet steel components by hot extraction technique. Test temperature is set ad hoc for the specific material from room temperature up to 180°C. Measurement is completely non-destructive and there is no need to remove coating.
